“How you lead under pressure defines your leadership.”

Shameka M. Brown
Organizational Development Leader | Executive Coach

Shameka helps leaders perform at a high level–without losing themselves.

She began her career in advertising, rising from junior copywriter to Group Creative Director in New York City agencies. Over more than a decade, she led teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments—delivering results while navigating the complexity of people, performance, and expectation. That experience shapes how she approaches leadership today.

Since 2019, Shameka has focused on executive coaching, leadership development, and facilitation. Her work centers on helping leaders close the gap between how they intend to lead and how they actually show up—especially under pressure. She integrates behavioral science, experiential learning design, and real-world leadership insight to create meaningful, lasting change.

Her clients include senior leaders and teams navigating growth, complexity, and high-stakes decision-making. Across engagements, she has helped reduce leadership turnover, improve retention of high-potential talent, and strengthen alignment and performance at the leadership level.

Shameka is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Syracuse University, holds a master’s degree from the VCU Brandcenter, and earned her executive coaching certification from Columbia University. She is also certified in meditation through the Chopra Center™, informing her use of real-time regulation practices that support clarity and decision-making under pressure.
